Nyght’s Clips Discontinued

It’s been three weeks since the last clip update and I just can’t bring myself to bother with them. Apparently, my heart isn’t into sharing clips anymore, especially given the dearth of new material that’s appealed to me in recent years – I really am that picky. Besides, I know from past experience that, if I had kept adding content from my clip vault, at some point I was going to start running into the hardware limits of my hosting plan, and the site was going to start crashing someday. That’s what happened to my old clip site and drove me to close it in 2017.

Creating original content is so much more fulfilling. Case in point, last year I joined a web-based AI image/video generator called Krea.ai. A family friend gifted me a one-year subscription for my birthday last month, and I went nuts creating new AI art. Sometime ago I removed Deadly Sensuality from the Producers index after discovering their Gumroad store had been closed. I recently learned they’ve since built their own site, and have added them back to the index.

I’ve removed Dark Desires from the YouTube Streaming index. YT removed the channel for violating their community guidelines.

In case you’re wondering why I don’t seek out and add new channels, it’s because I’ve seen far too many repeated attempts by other fetishists to start their own channels only to have YT yank them for the same reason they removed Dark Desires, and I’d rather not waste my time keeping track of them.

As I wrote on June 29, I’m closing my 3D art forum, Visions of Darkness, for financial reasons – My wife and I re-prioritized our finances and I can no longer justify VoD’s running costs. One of my member artists still sees a need for sites like it, and has picked up the torch by launching his own board.

I’m closing my 3D art board, Visions of Darkness, for financial reasons on August 1st, and have removed the link from the Forums index.

I’ve edited the main link on the Producers page to point to Daria’s Death‘s Patreon page, and moved their PayHip link and added their YouTube channel to their producer info.

In case you missed the last update on the community forum, technical issues drove me to shut it down.

For some reason, the automated process I configured with my host for site backups would not work, and hadn’t since converting FD to a message board last month. Worse, I wasn’t able to identify the problem, despite using the same software and settings for my 3D art forum. Tech support was useless, and I went through the manual with a fine-toothed comb. Since the forum was still new, I decided to close it and convert the link directory back to WordPress.

My apologies for any inconvenience. Rest assured, I’m sticking with WordPress.
